This is meant to be a public service announcement.
I scoured the internet and found nothing about this agency (the office I went to was in Melbourne right over the Pineda Causeway) that supposedly is NOT an escort agency....asks for your social security number and everything they would need to steal your identity...... uses a fake office suite and rents a space with a fake secretary.....
I could go on.
They post little lawn signs in residential neighborhoods in wealthy communities. They say things like "satellitebeachdating.com meet locals!".....
When you goto the site it redirects to "real love dating"....
then you fill out a questionnaire and someone calls you the next day asking you to come into the office to meet the owners of this exclusive social club.
They draw people in by giving them a free membership with a small monthly maintenance fee"- and they say that most people have to pay $4,000-9,500 for a "membership"....
(they told me that they needed young women so mine would be free with a monthly maintenance fee....this is how they get your Credit card information)......
The catch is that in order to be a part of this "club" that you have to give them your social security number and a copy of your drivers license and anything else that someone would need in order to steal someones' identity. This is for a "background check" that usually takes "two weeks" to complete.
Any dating agency that is asking people for their social is upto no good. DO NOT GIVE YOUR SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER OUT TO ANYONE under these pretenses. It is MOST LIKELY A SCAM or IDENTITY THEFT RING.
